Cazerny Bussey Featured on Through Our Eyes Podcast: Music, Media, and Creating Opportunity

The Pediatric Retinal Research Foundation (PRRF) welcomed Cazerny Bussey, Founder and CEO of Even Though I’m Blind, Inc., to its Through Our Eyes podcast for a conversation about music, media, and the experiences that shape a life of purpose.

With roots dating back to 1990, PRRF advances research into childhood retinal diseases, raises awareness, and supports people and families affected by vision loss. Its Through Our Eyes podcast brings forward the real experiences of visually impaired young adults, including education, independence, careers, and everyday life.

That focus on representation and opportunity connects with the mission of Even Though I’m Blind, Inc., which works through advocacy, accessible media, storytelling, and community engagement to expand opportunity for blind and visually impaired people.

In Episode 55, “Music, Media, and Building Even Though I’m Blind with Cazerny Bussey,” Bussey opens up about a particularly personal influence: his father, who was also blind and whom he saw as a superhero growing up. It is a part of his story he is bringing into the spotlight for the first time, alongside reflections on creativity and the purpose behind ETIB.

Rather than tell the whole story here, we invite you to hear the conversation in his own voice using the Spotify or Apple Podcasts links below.
